We are currently seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.Applicant needs to live within a 15--mile radius of Ronkonkoma, NY
Description: Seeking a Maintenance Associate to work with a team of other associates in a well-established residential community. This position requires someone who is very "hands on," comfortable in a position of responsibility and able to perform and prioritize a wide range of maintenance tasks.Responsibilities:
  • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
  • Estimate time and extent of repairs
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
​Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
Should be friendly and service minded, as this position requires working directly with management, residents, office staff and contractors.Scope of work: includes but is not limited to performing basic construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, snow removal, pool maintenance, landscaping, miscellaneous repairs and service requests.Valid driver's license and good driving record required.This position is subject to background check.Hours: Monday - Friday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with flexibility to work outside of scheduled hours as needed (ie: emergencies and snow removal).Benefits: competitive salary, paid holidays, sick days, vacation etc. on completion of probation period.Salary: Based on education, experience and skill level
