
Desense Engineer

- Lead Multi-Radio Coexistence through RF Desense (noise, jamming) optimization
- Identify noise source (aggressor(s)) and propose remedy
- Create appropriate and necessary software tool to integrate within wireless radio to check RF signals to root cause noise in the overall system
- Design Cellular RF hardware board as impedance matching, PCB layout review, bring up prototypes and Coexistence validation with LTE/BT/WiFi/GNSS/NFC
- Define RF Hardware requirement, design and implement in factory test
- Work with RF module/components suppliers and cross-functional teams to optimize RF performance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering AND a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in RF circuits design (cellular (LTE, UMTS), WiFi, BT, GNSS) OR Master’s/Doctoral Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF/antennas and electromagnetics AND a minimum of 3 years of industry experience in RF circuits design (cellular (LTE, UMTS), WiFi, BT, GNSS)
- Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to rally support from peers
- Broad expertise with Multi-Radio Coexistence
- Successful track record of working closely with Antenna Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Firmware teams
- Extensive circuit design experience for consumer or aviation products
- Experience with numerical simulation driven design workflows
- RF design experience such as Filters, LNAs, PAs, Receivers, etc.
- Extensive experience utilizing RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in designing for environmental constraints (temp, humidity, and vibration), regulatory compliance and product debug (EMC/EMI, ESD, transients, etc)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to galvanize cross functional teams
