Position Summary
Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
Reports to: Practice ManagerEssential Functions
Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.Qualifications and requirements
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • One to two years of experience preferred.
  • Certification of completion of Medical Assistant Program required.
  • License: CCMA, CMA or RMA Required.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.About our Health System
