- Coach and develop work teams to have positive and proactive attitudes, personal accountability, and superior manufacturing quality, while encouraging ownership of operations, products, and processes.
- Lead, develop, train, and mentor Group/Team Leaders and production team members in all areas including safety, quality, and equipment operation, and encourage achievement of effective goals.
- Performance management, including the preparation and administration of performance reviews and ongoing individual coaching.
- Disciplinary management, including investigating and administering corrective action consistent with internal policies supported by Human Resources and operations management.
- Maintain hiring and staffing levels to meet business needs, working with Human Resources and outside agencies, consistently following internal policies.
- Holds self and teammates accountable for living the ITW Culture and values.
- Create/maintain superior team safety awareness through OPX and develop corrective actions for safety concerns.
- Through employee involvement, lead safety, quality, and productivity initiatives while encouraging empowerment and driving ITW principles.
- Standardize methods, work instructions, and best practices through cross-functional teams including Production Coordinators from other facilities.
- Responsible for shift coordination and scheduling priorities to ensure safe and efficient operations based on demand.
- Work closely with internal departments to maintain and improve the manufacturing environment, responding to changing customer needs through area layout, process planning, and equipment selection.
- Build relationships, be visible, communicate, and encourage creativity and innovation.
- Effective communication across all shifts and levels of the organization.
- Safety & Quality Awareness: Understand the importance of safety compliance and adherence to quality standards.

- Associate degree required, Bachelor degree preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong computer (Microsoft Office), oral and written communication skills, prior experience with Route Card system is a plus.
