Director of Residences: Option to be based in Palm Beach or NYC
Complete Job Description available: www.privatestaffgroup.comDirector of Residences to oversee complete operations of 3 residences including: interiors/exteriors, vendors, staffing, and reporting to the family office. Requires skills and experiences with high value residences, assets, home technologies and leadership to create wonderful homes in concert with the principal's preferences and vision.Activities and Responsibilities:
Managing special properties, gorgeous landscaping, and protections of assets across the family's estates, including leadership of domestic staff, transitions for usage and upgrades, including renovations, and supervision as the Owner's rep. Highly flexible to adapt to changes, travel and be responsive 24/7.
DoR has least 10 years' experience in managing staff and residences across various locations. Proficient in complex calendar management, maintenance schedules and coordinating between principals, corporate scheduling, events, staffing levels and vendors. DoR has a collaborative spirit, flexibility, and a dedication and commitment to achieve high level of excellence and attention to detail.Qualifications:
  • Chief of Staff, Director of Residences, Estate Manager, etc. experiences.
  • Experience in HR practices including sourcing, training, onboarding, scheduling, and managing staff is preferred.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a steadfast commitment to fulfilling responsibilities and ensuring the satisfaction and success of principals, their family, and team members.
  • Ability to make responsive and accurate decisions and thrive in a busy environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability, capable of anticipating and addressing issues before they arise.
  • Art, car, and wine collection experiences.
  • Highly detail-oriented, capable of managing both the big picture and small details simultaneously.
  • Hospitality, interiors preparations, staff training, and supervision of caterers and extra service teams.
  • Demonstrates a poised and professional demeanor with a proactive, above-and-beyond attitude.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to travel; readiness to work extended hours as necessary.
  • Excellent technology skills.
  • Security systems, privacy protections, and working with security personnel.
