- Reviews and processes Declaration of Services for Child Care Providers’ for payment in a timely manner
- Reviews and approves vouchers for payment in a timely manner
- Prepares Request for Funds for reimbursement for PBWDB staff
- Uploads claims information and downloads paid claims
- Researches all Payments; reviews/approves/process
- Responsible for Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Compiles recoupment letter and notifies provider of amounts owed and maintains collection files
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required
- Coordinates reimbursement to Providers and parents for child care expenditures, for data entry and retrieval of client and Provider information and performing all tasks related to claims and billings
- Generates and distributes pre-printed claim/reporting forms for providers and relative care parents
- Provides technical assistance to providers and parents on claims completion, processing and payment
- Reviews provider and relative care claims for accuracy and agreement with client and provider records
- Processes forms for reimbursement to providers
- Performs finance procedural Quality Assurance as needed
- Assists and prepares responses for quality assurance monitoring
- Completes required trainings as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to use personal computer for correspondence reports, database access, record keeping, and working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
- Ability to interact with providers on a daily basis via face-to-face and/or phone
- Commitment to customer-focused service delivery system
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in conjunction with others to overcome obstacles for goal attainment of the client
- Related bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience
- Moderate travel may be required as needed
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- 80% of the day will be spent sitting or standing while talking on the phone
- Interacts one on one and in groups with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds
