Take pride in knowing that your hard work makes a difference in the lives of our customers and consumers.PurposeTo assist effectively in various production research, collection, documentation, implementation tasks associated with Sandridge Crafted Food’s business applications. Responsibilities will be related to the support of Sandridge Crafted Food’s Business application. This includes but is not limited to applications used by Operations, Warehouse, Transportation, Finance, Maintenance, and Sales. Duties include insuring quality research, documentation, development, and training of the different applications to include but not limited to areas of manufacturing, production tracking, scheduling, and general business systems.Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the development team to develop software products under supervision.
  • Write, clean, and scalable code using .NET programming languages.
  • Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
  • Provide basic technical support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Assist in development, testing, and maintenance of ERP system integrations.
  • Understand and become efficient with core ERP system, specifically in relation to system security and operational value.
  • Develop an understanding the company’s application portfolio, development tools, and procedures.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Participate in identifying and driving improvements in Food Safety, Human Safety, First-Time Quality, Line/Labor efficiency, Attainment, and Ingredient/Product yields.
  • Familiarize yourself with the company’s application portfolio, development tools, and procedures.
  • Create, maintain, and implement any application source code for any in-house developed, extended, or customized applications.
  • Assist in business activities by supporting business applications for various production rooms/functional areas.
  • Prioritize support calls, help tickets, and change requests in our central Help Desk system.
  • Assist in documenting changes, enhancements, and procedures.
  • Support user training needs and remote locations as requested.
  • Expedite troubleshooting and resolve reported issues while coordinating activities so as not to impact production.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED is required. Technical degree in programming or programming certification equivalent or working towards it.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming in given environments or a solid understanding of it would be preferred, particularly C#.
  • Exposure to SAGE X3 ERP v5 through v11 or similar ERP products would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with .NET Core.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control tools.
  • Solid understanding of MS SQL Server, SOAP, and REST web services.
  • Understanding of relational database structures, entity relationships, and indexes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio or JetBrains Rider IDE would be beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of food industry requirements and compliance standards could be beneficial.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn innovative technologies as needed, often demonstrating aptitude for self-paced learning, and utilizing tutorials.
  • Good interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work off-shift hours to complete job-related tasks or be on call to support select needs is mandatory.
