Work Location – Nexus Controls facility @ Longmont, CO
Duration: 12 months on W2 contractClient is urgently seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to lead training initiatives and support LMS content development. This role will replace a current team member exiting on 12/31, with immediate onboarding needed for knowledge transfer.Key Responsibilities:

Lead training design using ADDIE methodology across Sales, Engineering, Quoting, or Industrial Markets teams
Collaborate with SMEs to develop skill checklists, exams, and course content (live and eLearning)
Manage LMS operations: content updates, student registration, instructor support
Maintain training website and align with LMS offerings
Develop technical training curricula and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (Chemistry preferred) or equivalent experience
2+ years in instructional design; ADDIE experience preferred
Fluent in English; strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and LMS platforms

Preferred:

Experience in turbine systems, commissioning, or industrial services
Soft skills training certifications and workflow automation experience
