
Calibration Specialist

- Perform scheduled routine maintenance on active instrumentation and equipment.
- Conduct scheduled calibrations/qualifications on active instrumentation and equipment, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).
- Perform remedial maintenance on active instrumentation and equipment.
- Oversee the installation of new laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Follow vendor documentation related to preventive maintenance, calibration/qualification, and repairs.
- Address audits (internal or external client) on laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Evaluate lab support records for compliance with standard operating procedures, review for completeness and accuracy, and report findings.
- Expertise in Metrology and Calibration.
- Experience with Laboratory equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
- Familiarity with instrument calibrations, including scales, balances, flow meters, temperature and pressure meters, temperature probes, and fluke meters.
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Preferred experience in Cleanroom ISO 7/8 environments.
- Technical certificates may be required.
- At least 2 years of previous experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience.
- Understanding of FDA and GXP regulations and requirements.
- Working knowledge and understanding of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and all levels of staff.
- Capability to work in a collaborative team environment.
