  • Set up tables for the function according to the banquet event order.
  • Transport food and beverages to guests promptly.
  • Perform necessary tasks to service guests, including taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing dirty dishes.
  • Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
  • Monitor guest needs continually, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints.
  • Replenish food on buffet lines as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates.
  • Break down the event according to company procedures.
More about you
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Previous restaurant, catering, and/or banquet experience required.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including listening skills, and the ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly.
Physical requirements
  • Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for the entire length of the shift.
  • Ability to lift to 30 pounds.
  • Mobility to maneuver between tables.
