Safety planning and adherence to all OSHA, VOSHA, and ACI safety standards. This may include but is not limited to safety meetings, taking corrective actions, and administering aid
Forecast material needs and inventories for shrink wrapping
Leads a group(s) for paint touch up and shrink wrapping
Provides leadership and training for new employees
Understands and adjusts labor to meet schedule demand
Adheres to Quality Control processes
Tracks production for reporting
Conducts 5's process improvement evaluations and implementation
Supervisory Responsibility: YesRequired:
2+ years of experience shrink wrapping large projects
Experience maintaining and operating equipment necessary for shrink wrapping various sizes of modular product for over the road shipping and outdoor storage
Can operate construction equipment such as lifts, hand tools, and power tools
Manages project materials and inventories needed for shrink wrapping
Ability to speak, read, and write in English with Spanish as an addition would be a plus.
Proficient in general computer equipment and Microsoft office products
Excellent math and geometry skills
Possess a willingness to grow with the job and teambuilding
Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
Must adhere to company policies and procedures
Must be available to work assigned schedules and extended hours as needed
Willing to make site visits to perform field work or make evaluations as required.

May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness
May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels

May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights
Physical Demands:
This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools
While performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms
Must be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
Travel:
May require travel (typically not overnight)
Preferred:
Prior military experience
Experience with Structural steel detailing using SDS/2 or (Tekla – preferred)
HS diploma or GED equivalent
The Steel Detailer should be fluent with computer use and software navigation.
Able to use Microsoft office
