- This role will have 5 days PTO (PTO accrues over time). In going direct hire, there will be significantly more PTO.
- Develop LMI for assigned projects or programs in accordance with the customer's statement of work and contractual agreements.
- Analyze technical documentation to influence design and deliver LMI in the customer's standard format.
- Analyze and interpret government/customer solicitation documents for LMI programs; assist in the development of cost proposals and specifications.
- Work on defined LMI activities for assigned programs/projects with minimal guidance.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to subcontractors and/or logistics analysts for LMI development.
- Review final LMI deliveries, research new or modified designs, and establish maintenance and operational concept alternatives.
- Perform detailed task analysis for operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Recommend program-specific guidelines for LMI data entry, style, and format based on customer requirements and military specifications.
- Develop accurate operator and maintenance procedures for complex designs using LMI reports, engineering drawings, and technical source data.
- Collaborate in the development of troubleshooting logic trees for complex systems and subsystems.
- Identify requirements for the development of accurate, appropriate, and timely illustrations.
- Participate in logistics review boards, LSAR reviews, provisioning reviews, technical manual in-process reviews, LD/MD, and validation/verification activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of government requirements and state-of-the-art techniques for military LMI; recommend modifications to processes.
- Present portions of presentations for government and customer representatives and respond to inquiries about LMI activities.
- Relevant Associate degree + additional 6 years of experience; or relevant Bachelor's degree + additional 2 years of experience. Military experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Detailed knowledge of applicable Military Standards for LMI data development.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Ability to define and/or forecast support requirements.
- Familiarity with logistics design influence.
- Familiarity with automated test equipment and fault isolation techniques.
- Proficiency with computer software and tools for LMI-related activities.
- Ability to plan and document the development, testing, and deployment of logistics resources using LSA/LSAR.
- Experience with relevant LMI applications in a defense environment.
- Awareness or basic understanding of the ten ILS elements.
- This is a 1st (day) shift role that works a 9/80 schedule (9-hour days, every other Friday off).
- There may be occasional overtime in this role, but OT will not be significant. Any OT will be paid at 1.5x.
