Job Description:Facility: Administrative Regional Training CntrShift: Shift 1Status: Full Time FTE: 1.000000Bargaining Unit: ACE AssociatesExempt from Overtime: Exempt: YesWork Schedule: DaysHours:8-4Summary:The Microsoft and Configuration Administrator is tasked with overseeing and maintaining all aspects of End-user & Site Support Environment. This includes the administration of the Microsoft tenant and inventory and configuration management for the end-user and site support disciplines. This position will be an escalation for the Service Desk and Identity and Access Management team and will be supported by members of the engineering team. This includes administering Microsoft 365 and other licenses, managing subscriptions, handling procurement, renewal, allocation, and termination processes and recommending cost-saving opportunities. The administrator ensures the accurate configuration of Microsoft portals, such as the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Volume Licensing Service Center, while maintaining compliance with licensing agreements. Reporting on M365 usage, user experience and help article usage will be paramount to driving efficiency.Collaboration is a vital aspect of the position, as the administrator works closely with cross-functional teams to align licensing strategies with organizational objectives, optimize resource allocation, and deliver training or guidance on portal functionalities and best practices. Staying current on industry changes, licensing models, and Microsoft product updates, the administrator continuously identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and transparency, supporting the organization’s growth and sustainability.Responsibilities:EDUCATION
  • Associates degree required, Bachelors preferred
  • Relevant technical certifications will also be considered and is preferred
EXPERIENCE
  • 2 years supporting end user computing environments including Microsoft 365 administration required, 5 years preferred
  • 1 year of experience managing Microsoft 365 billing, licensing, or portal administration required, 2+ years preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Admin Center and related tools
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) processes and tools
  • Experience managing end user computing device inventory and configurations preferred
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., M365 Fundamentals) are a strong advantage
  • Mobile device management experience is preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Proficiency managing administration of the Microsoft 365 environment, including user accounts, licenses, and security settings
  • Experience monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
  • Experience managing end user compute
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in managing software licenses in a cloud environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and business needs
  • Experience implementing and enforcing security policies and compliance standards
  • Experience with creating documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • The normal work week encompasses 37.5 hours to be achieved, however, the incumbent will be required to be part of a regular rotating on-call list to provide technical support services to the CH client community during the off-hours Monday through Friday and on weekends
