Machine Operator

• Complete all required job paperwork.
• Lock out equipment before setup and disassembly.
• Inspect equipment during setup to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Report any abnormalities to the Supervisor.
• Ensure all packaging materials meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Seal all packing materials to protect from contaminants.
• Return packaging to designated storage areas.
• Perform dry pick-up duties.

• Frequent standing, lifting, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, and other physical activities.
• Work schedule and quitting time may vary based on production needs — flexibility is important.
• Temperature ranges: 30°F to 110°F in processing areas.
• Exposure to potentially dangerous machinery, electrical, mechanical, and chemical hazards.
• Loud and constant noise levels.
• Floors may be damp and slick.
• Ability to bend, stoop, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs., and stand for long periods.

• Ability to meet daily shipping schedules.
• Knowledge of metal detector policy and proper product handling.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, orderly manner.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitized.
• Maintain accurate inventory of packing supplies.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures.
• Ability to rotate to different jobs when needed.
• Understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and lockout/tagout procedures.

• Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
