DescriptionJob Summary:The EDI Manager is responsible for overseeing Client's entire EDI infrastructure, ensuring seamless and accurate data exchange with all clients. The EDI Manager will lead a team and drive continuous improvement in EDI operations.Key ResponsibilitiesThe EDI Manager will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
  • Operational Oversight: Supervising daily EDI operations, ensuring accurate data transmission, and generating reports.
  • Partner Implementation: Leading the implementation of new EDI trading partners and developing detailed plans for new EDI transactions.
  • Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with trading partners, including major retailers, and collaborating with their EDI and Logistics personnel to enhance transactions and reduce chargebacks.
  • Software and Standards Management: Overseeing upgrades and implementations of EDI translation software (like TrustedLink for iSeries, BizLink, and Boomi Module) and managing changes to EDI transaction upgrades.
  • Team Leadership: Hiring, training, supervising, and conducting performance reviews for EDI staff.
  • Reporting: Providing status reports on tasks and projects to the Sr. Director of IT.
  • Strategic Growth: Playing a key role in supporting Client's innovation and operational growth by ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure EDI systems.
Qualifications
  • Candidates for the EDI Manager position should meet the following criteria:
  • Experience: A minimum of four years of experience as an EDI Coordinator or in Customer Support within Management Information Systems, with a strong preference for supplier-side EDI experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of EDI standards, transaction sets, and EDI mapping. Familiarity with EDI translation software such as Boomi, TrustedLink for iSeries, and BizManager.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project Manager, Internet, and email. Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and a high level of customer service orientation are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
