Employment Type: Part timeShift: Rotating ShiftDescription:Posting Job DescriptionPosition Purpose:The Security Officer carries out the responsibilities of maintaining order within the health center by monitoring and securing the premises and by responding to threats and safety concerns. Enforces all health center regulations in accordance with applicable operation guides. Assists law enforcement agencies and the Mason City Fire Department personnel as required when on medical center property.What You Will Do:Utilizes problem solving knowledge and skills to investigate problems and formulate solutions to improve safety, maximize growth and reduce costs.Acts in a professional manner reflecting the mission, philosophy and values of Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa and the Sisters of Mercy.Embrace change and takes prudent risk to find new ways to support the mission, encouraging new ideas to serve our patients and communities. Provide and accept coaching and feedback.Patrols all buildings and grounds of Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa on foot.
