How will you contribute?Ahern has an exciting opportunity for a Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice to join the Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program working for our Mason City, Iowa location. This is a 5-year apprenticeship program working side-by-side with a journeymen sprinkler fitter installing automatic fire protection systems. Your employment relationship will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement. Apprentices will complete on-the-job training and a 5-year correspondence course toward becoming a journeyman sprinkler fitter.How will you qualify?Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, have a valid driver’s license along with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles, and pass an appropriate drug screen and physical (the job entails a great deal of lifting and climbing).
