Our client, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP), is looking for a dynamic IT Support Engineer to join their growing team.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with diverse technologies, sharpen your troubleshooting skills, and become the trusted IT expert for a wide range of businesses.Key Responsibilities
- Serve as first line of defense for client IT issues — resolving tickets via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Provide outstanding Help Desk / Desktop Support and occasionally on-site technical assistance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows servers, desktops, networking, Office 365, email, and third-party apps.
- Identify root causes, implement permanent fixes, and document solutions.
- Collaborate with vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Maintain accurate time logs, service notes, and client documentation.
- Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule (after hours/weekends).
- 2–5 years of IT support experience (MSP experience a strong plus).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), Office 365, and cloud services.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills — you enjoy helping people solve problems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be located in Rhode Island or Southeastern MA.
