- Consultative Partnership & Diagnosis: Embed with senior sales and commercial leaders to understand their most pressing strategic challenges. Lead deep-dive diagnostic projects using advanced SQL to uncover the root causes of performance gaps in ADP's sales processes, from lead conversion to pipeline velocity and deal closure.
- Salesforce Effectiveness Initiatives: Proactively identify and recommend performance-lift strategies. Lead analytical projects focused on key ADP priorities such as Gen AI implementation, measuring the ROI of sales enablement tools, Sales learning initiatives etc.
- Insight-to-Action Leadership: Collaborate directly with business partners in Product, Sales Operations, Finance, and Marketing to translate your analytical findings into concrete action plans. You will own the narrative, using Tableau to tell a compelling story that drives consensus and leads to implementation.
- Strategic Recommendations: Go beyond "what happened" to advise on "what we should do next." Develop and present data-driven recommendations on sales strategy, resource allocation, and investment priorities to VPs and senior leadership. Your success is measured by the business impact of your insights.
- Consultative Problem-Solving: A proven ability to dissect ambiguous business problems, formulate and test hypotheses, and deliver structured, data-driven solutions in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of B2B sales processes and the key levers that drive sales productivity. You are intellectually curious and passionate about understanding the nuances of ADP's business and the HCM market.
- Influencing & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills and executive presence. You are adept at building relationships with senior sales leaders, managing expectations, and influencing decision-making without direct authority.
- Project Leadership: Experience leading complex analytical projects from initial scoping to final recommendation, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
- Expert-Level SQL: Hands-on mastery of SQL is non-negotiable. Must possess the ability to write complex queries to integrate and structure data from disparate sources (e.g., CRM, financial systems, Data Lake) into purpose-built analytical datasets.
- Advanced Data Visualization (Tableau): Proficiency in using Tableau not just for charting, but as a tool for guided analytics, insight discovery, and creating compelling, executive-ready stories that facilitate strategic conversations.
- Well-rounded individual possessing a high degree of initiative, proactive and willing to accept responsibility with very little handholding, strong analytical and logical mindset, demonstrate proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English, ability to learn new platforms and source information from numerous systems, ability to work in fast paced, complex Business & IT environments.
- A college degree is nice to have but not required. What’s more important is having the skills to do the job. Other forms of acceptable experience include:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in business analytics, sales analytics, financial analysis, or a related field with a clear emphasis on consultative analysis and business partnership.
- Strong knowledge of data concepts and tools and experience in RDMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle etc.
- Well-versed with concepts and techniques of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
- Working with Amazon redshift, Databricks or similar
- Experience working with data from CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Experience in the technology, SaaS, or business services industry.
- Python and advanced analytics preferred
- Direct experience in dedicated consultative analytics, sales strategy, or sales effectiveness role within a large-scale sales organization.
