
Space Systems Engineer

- Engages with developers to evaluate software simulators, engineering units, and hardware simulators through integration activities.
- Leads technical requirements development, systems engineering, and oversees development contractor to develop, design, produce, integrate and test space systems.
- Oversees payload integration and interface control management.
- Performs system integration of multiple efforts to integrate complex space systems, ground segment integration, and deployment into operations.
- Oversees requirements verification and validation.
- Makes program risks assessments and provides actionable recommendations to the chief engineer and program manager.
- Bachelor of Science and eighteen (18) years or more experience; master's and sixteen (16) years or more experience or an additional 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI and be willing to consent to a polygraph examination.
- Experience with space systems development, integration, and/or operations of DoD or other Agency (NRO, NSA, NASA, etc.).
- Prior experience supporting aerospace, electronic warfare, satellite engineering, space control, space operations, orbital warfare operations, RPO, weapon systems-based engineering efforts
- Salary Range: $180,000 - $225,000 (compensation varies on position and relevant years of experience and education)
