
Tax Analyst II - Tax Provision & Compliance

- Prepare and review federal, state, and international tax provisions
- Assist in the preparation and filing of US federal and state income tax returns
- Analyze and reconcile book-to-tax differences
- Support the quarterly and annual tax provision process
- Perform monthly tax account reconciliations
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the company
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data
- Maintain and update tax workpapers and documentation
- Assist in responding to internal and external audit requests
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the tax department
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax provision and compliance
- Advanced knowledge of tax accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in tax provision software (e.g., CorpTax, OneSource)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Experience with US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards
- In-depth knowledge of US tax laws and regulations
- Understanding of international tax principles
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
