- Daily Census: 50
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (3 years preferred)
- Current CNMT certification required
- ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
- Experience with Siemens PET CT equipment
- Proficient in performing PET CT exams for cancer, infection, and neurological diagnoses
- Skilled in venous blood draws, starting/maintaining peripheral IVs, and handling/disposal of radioactive materials
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Connecticut state license (must apply prior to submission; allow 1521 business days for processing)
- One professional reference required
- Local candidates (within 75 miles) not accepted
- Perform routine PET CT exams for oncology, infection, and neurological patients
- Operate Siemens PET CT equipment and follow imaging protocols
- Draw venous blood and start/maintain peripheral IVs
- Safely store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials per healthcare regulations
- Deliver care to infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response
- Maintain isolation precautions and adhere to hospital safety protocols
- Complete required orientation and annual allied health modules
