
Medicaid Federal Reporting Manager - Remote

- Lead the preparation, validation, and submission of federal Medicaid reports including CMS-64, T-MSIS, CMS-416, and other mandated deliverables
- Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, reporting standards, and submission deadlines
- Collaborate with finance, policy, IT, and analytics teams to gather, reconcile, and validate data inputs
- Analyze Medicaid data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for program improvement
- Oversee the development and implementation of reports, including dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI
- Manage and collaborate with program manager and project scheduler for project timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of analysts and developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Monitor changes in federal reporting requirements and proactively implement updates
- Support audits and respond to inquiries from CMS and other regulatory bodies
- Maintain documentation of reporting processes, methodologies, and data governance practices
- 5+ years of experience in Medicaid reporting, healthcare analytics, and/or data warehousing
- Experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) and State Medicaid Data Warehouses
- Experience applying PMI project management principles and managing project constraints
- Familiarity with federal and state healthcare regulations and reporting standards
- Solid understanding of CMS reporting requirements and Medicaid data systems (e.g., MMIS, T-MSIS, MBES)
- Proven experience managing complex data analytics/reporting projects in a multi-vendor environment
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Python, Excel, and data visualization tools
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or CBIP certification
- Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Teradata, Informatica MDM, SAP Business Objects, JIRA, MS Project
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, Data Bricks) and data streaming platforms
- Willing to travel (~10%) to Montgomery, AL as needed
