Job Title: CNC ProgrammerAbout the RoleActalent is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in machining and CNC programming who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machines to support our production goals.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using Autodesk Fusion and Mastercam
  • Create nesting programs for efficient material usage
  • Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets
  • Read and execute verbal and written instructions accurately
  • Support mechanical assembly processes and equipment setup
  • Maintain tooling and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote safe work habits
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of machine shop experience
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, CNC programming, and machining
  • Strong understanding of mechanical assembly and industrial processes
  • Ability to read technical drawings and interpret GD&T
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with controls and instrumentation, process improvement, and supply management
