Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers.I2X Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Boulder, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance, TS/SCI preferred.
  • Configuration and management of Juniper and Cisco switches and routers, firewalls, and support to system administration team in deployment at new sites.
  • Support the design, build, test, and troubleshoot computer systems.
  • Network and System Administration.
  • Workstation and server configuration.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Working with the System Administrator, Hardware, and Software teams to maintain/update system.
  • Install/build rack mounted systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience or Master's with 12 years
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying and managing LAN and WAN networks
  • Experience with Linux/RHEL
  • Experience with Juniper/Cysco
  • Sound knowledge of network architecture, topologies, engineering, design, implementation, and testing
  • Familiarity with communication products including router, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS) and data encryption products.
  • Certifications in the industry vendors Juniper/Cisco
  • Understanding of standard DoD security practices such as, STIG/RMF compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts
  • Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools
  • Network and Linux/RHEL automation utilizing Ansible
  • Virtualization utilizing VMWare
  • Document existing and new network architectures using Visio
