Estimating and Job Ticket Entry Clerk

Salt Lake City, UTWe are currently searching for a detail-oriented estimating and job ticket entry clerk to join our production department. As an estimating and job ticket entry clerk, you will be responsible for entering estimates for new printing jobs into the system and subsequently entering job ticket orders into the system once the estimate becomes a job. This position will provide the sales team with estimates in a timely manner to obtain new label and print packaging opportunities. This position reports to the Pre-press/Label Workflow Manager.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates label products in Manufacturing Information System
- Provides order estimates within one day of request
- Enters production job tickets into the Manufacturing Information System
- Supports gathering of data for job costing and other estimate-related reports
- Works with the prepress team to ensure estimated details match customer requirements on artwork
- Assists pre-press department with clerical support
- Coordinates new job tickets with label scheduler
- Provides cross-functional communication support for label job tickets
- 1-year experience in print production (label and packaging experience preferred)
- Extreme attention to detail with high levels of organization
- Experience with data entry
- Experience with estimating and scheduling
- Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards
- Good knowledge of industry products and processes
- Basic mathematical arithmetic
- Excellent oral and communication skills
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment
- Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision
