To provide quality food service to members and guests of the Michigan Athletic Club.Responsibilities:
- Provide fast, friendly and accurate service.
- Point of Sale Entry; taking orders on the touch screen unit, cash handling, cash-out procedures.
- Assist the cook in filling orders.
- Food preparation.
- Maintain a clean and stocked environment in the MAC.
- Follow all applicable health codes.
- Maximize sales and minimize food waste.
Work Experience • Previous customer service experience
Education • Must be 18 years of age to apply and have high school diploma or GED
Specialized Knowledge and Skills Required: • Must have the ability to multi-task • Must have a friendly disposition and the desire to serve people • Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis Preferred: • Previous food service experienceSparrow Health System is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
