We have an exciting opportunity to launch a new technology offering for high voltage applications. This will require development of discrete power devices in our 200mm facility and subsequent productization. Process Integrators with industry experience in discrete power devices, with knowledge of substrates, materials, process integration and tooling required for technology development would be highly valued. We are seeking candidates for a passion to work with a team of engineers to provide technical leadership and oversight of scope and execution. Engineers with a Masters or Ph. D. degree and over 10 years of industry R&D experience in Power semiconductor technologies are strongly preferred. As the ideal candidate, you will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills and play a vital role in driving projects, enabling Si proof points, qualify and ramp technologies. You would collaborate with product development teams, technology architects, process engineers and determine experiments and execute process development activities for a variety of projects. You will also play the role of coach to other new college graduates and process engineers.Summary of Role:PMTS gfLABs Power Device Process IntegrationEssential Responsibilities include:
- Responsibilities include development, optimization, and qualification of power devices for semiconductor foundry technologies.
- Provide project management oversight, coordinating early engagements with suppliers
- Work closely with TCAD team to optimize design and process flow to make devices
- Partner with fab engineers and suppliers to ensure optimal tooling
- Manage overall scope and timeline for execution of development project
- Provide technical leadership of team working on projects to achieve goals
- Engage partners and customers to ensure alignment of project scope and provide regular updates.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
- Education – BS, MS or Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.
- Minimum of 10years of experience
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
- 100% onsite Burlington, VT
- Travel - Up to 10%
- Experience in discrete power device simulation, design, characterization and qualification.
- Experience leading a device or process development project.
- Experience and understanding of SCRs, IGBTs etc
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Prior leadership experience and project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity, strong planning & organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
