  • Will provide supervisory duties for the assigned area of responsibility. Including ticket sales for local events, attractions, information on rental cars, ground transportation, dinner reservations, and general information about hotels and the area.
  • Provides travel information and assistance to persons giving information on attractions they plan on visiting, providing tickets to attractions, and preparing itineraries.
  • Performs a full range of supervisory duties, including recommending recruitment or reassignment actions, conducts performance appraisals and submits for approval by the manager.
  • Prepares documentation for payment of vendor, balances daily receipts, bank statements, and daily activity reports; makes daily deposits.
  • Establishes and maintains files; revises and disposes of files in accordance with procedures. Prepares budget, and composes routine correspondence from brief notes, oral instructions, or on the basis of precedents
RequirementsConditions of employment
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications
  • Progressively responsible experience, including supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Must have exceptional communication and people skills in customer service and problem resolution and be able to supervise the work of others.
  • Experience in attraction sales and guest services is desirable.
Education
  • A two (2) year degree (AA) with a major emphasis in hospitality management or closely related field may be substitute for some of the required experience.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized , based on a determination that a PCS move in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
