DescriptionLocation: UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central, US:CO:Colorado SpringsDepartment: PharmacyFTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)Shift: Day and Evening RotationPay: $59.80 - $83.72 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experienceMinimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
  • State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification and/or relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.
  • Preferred: PGY1 Residency and oncology infusion experience.

Clinical Pharmacist:
  • Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices
  • Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions
  • Stay current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education
  • Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care to ensure optimal outcomes
