- Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and reference materials, tailored for the semiconductor industry.
- Utilize DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) to create modular and reusable content, ensuring consistency and efficiency in documentation.
- Utilize information architecture strategies to enhance the usability and accessibility of technical documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and quality assurance, to gather and understand technical information.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing documentation and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Participate in documentation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical writing and information architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications or a related field, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a technical writer in the semiconductor industry or a related high-tech field.
- Proven experience using DITA for content development and management.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and user-friendly manner.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in tools such as Oxygen XML or similar tools, Adobe FrameMaker, Visio, git, and component content management systems (CCMS).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience working in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of the DITA Open Toolkit, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
