This position will require full-time travel throughout the North Carolina area.The mission: The Laborer I or II will provide on the ground support to Machine Operators, allowing Operators to maximize their productivity on linear footage. Primary job is seeding, mulching, and installing erosion control matting
Work with construction crews on manual labor activities to support overall project
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
Clean equipment and reports any service related concerns promptly to supervisor
Maintain a positive working relationship with customers and co-workers
Opportunity to learn heavy equipment operations

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Capable of walking over uneven surfaces, climbing on construction equipment, and navigating hills.
Comfortable working outdoors and performing tasks at ground level.

Previous experience in outdoor construction
Experience and understanding of engineered blueprint drawings & specifications
Must be willing and able to travel overnight and work at assigned project locations weekly
Willingness & ability to occasionally lift 70 pounds
Experience as a Laborer on Stream Restoration and/or Wetland construction projects preferred
