Provide leadership, technical direction, and deliver the best solutions on design-build projects valued anywhere from a $60 million to over $250 million. At Clayco, a Senior Project Manager is responsible for assisting with preconstruction, buying out contracts, and managing the project from start to finish.The Specifics of the Role
  • Build client and subcontractor relationships.
  • Team with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to create and manage a design schedule.
  • Establish project forecasts and budgets.
  • Manage costs.
  • Accept full responsibility for project execution.
  • Mentor and develop project management staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
  • 10-15 years of experience managing construction projects ($50+ million) ideally design-build.
  • Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Previous experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
  • Previous experience leading a successful project management team.
  • Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.
  • Ability to lift objects at least 50lbs.
