The person plays a key role in consolidating, reporting, and analyzing the company’s revenue and sales operating expenses. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst supports the Sales Operations team directly with budget management and special projects. The role acts as a global coordinator of key processes and works closely with regional sales finance teams to consolidate forecasts, publish reporting, improve processes and collaborate on projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages month end sales, margin and operating expense reporting and analysis for the consolidated Sales organization for review with Commercial Finance leadership; brings to close any action necessary
  • Develops, maintains, and manages a robust routine reporting infrastructure for stakeholders within Finance and Sales
  • Coordinates the Operating Expense forecasting, planning, and variance analysis process by working closely with local Sales Finance teams around the globe
  • Takes leadership in building and maintaining revenue planning consolidation templates in support of the company’s annual operating plan cycle
  • Partners with Director Commercial Finance and VP Commercial Finance in leading the implementation of new initiatives across the Commercial Finance and broader Finance organization
  • Works collaboratively with regional finance leads to identify synergies and efficiencies in regional processes
  • Plays a key role in quarter end earnings preparation by partnering with regional teams to gather and summarize relevant storylines for the quarter
  • Leads quarterly forecast accuracy assessment for all commercial finance teams
  • Partners directly with the Sales Operations organization to manage a $20M+ annual operating expense budget
  • Identifies and implements improvements to enhance the overall operation of the global commercial finance organization (processes, templates, reporting, etc.)
Able to work hybrid schedule in Lincolnshire, IL but will consider internal applicants that can work in other Zebra office locations.Minimal travel, less than 5%.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
  • Appropriate professional qualification / certification to practice finance in country / region preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Candidates with 3+ years of experience will be considered with 3 years of relevant Zebra experience, inclusive of participation in the FDP program
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Broad knowledge of accounting practices and principles
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Advanced Excel and database skills
  • Advanced experience with ERP systems: Oracle, OBI, SAP
  • Oracle SmartView experience highly preferred
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Confident at working to deadlines
  • Prior experience of working within a Finance department is essential
