- Responsible for final disposition of material provision in accordance with quality acceptable levels.
- Ultimate leadership responsibility for the chemical, component, and finished goods warehouses.
- Direct material between three (3) facilities with reliance on ERP, communication from customer service and managing team tasks.
- Schedule employees to support production and compounding requirements based on workload.
- Ensure that all Production and compound inventory/ kits are delivered in a timely manner so that there are no delays in production.
- Develops, maintains, and enforces FIFO related inventory control procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the accuracy of inventory forecasts and demand plans. Identify factors impacting forecast accuracy and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting models and methodologies.
- Directs and conducts cycle counts.
- Deep understanding of inventory management principles, supply chain dynamics, and retail operations. Knowledge of inventory planning systems, ERP platforms, and inventory optimization software is desirable.
- Oversees the distribution strategy in support of achieving target: quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives.
- Responsible for overseeing the recycling and the removal of all types of waste.
- Trains, implement and drives departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Supervision of material handlers, truck drivers, warehouse associates.
- Ensure that the work effort which has been scheduled is accomplished on time and consistent with quality requirements.
- Trains, implement and drive departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Plan future capacity requirements.
- Directs all distribution and logistics activities including managing labor costs, productivity, inventory levels and ensures the accuracy timeliness of all transactions processed in SAP system.
- Partners with HR and supports the recruitment, selection, and training of the team. Develops schedule for successful onboarding and employee retention by ensuring timely training, performance tracking and progress.
- Drives departmental improvement by motivating training and certifying warehouse staff to ensure productivity targets are met.
- Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and security guidelines in the work environment.
- Responsible for performance evaluations.
- Ensures all warehouse policies and procedures are enforced.
- Other responsibilities or tasks as assigned by management.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP system
- Numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement preferred.
- Strong experience managing and executing inventory processes and system.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Diligence and organization in managing information.
- 5 to 10 years hands-on manufacturing experience acting as an Inventory Control Leader/supervisor strongly preferred.
- Experience with inventory control, manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures.
- Possess good product knowledge.
- Possess a good working knowledge of all facets of manufacturing operations.
- Flexibility to work special schedules as required to satisfy job requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to follow through on project assignments.
