Find out how you can Make It Possible:Supervisor - Laboratory - Full Time Day ShiftIn this role, the supervisor will oversee Hematology/Coagulation/ Urinalysis and Molecular Microbiology operations. The Supervisor is responsible for organizing and directing the daily activities of the laboratory section assigned. Maintain adequate inventory and supplies. Responsible for validity of test results, quality control and quality assurance. Participates in continuing education program. Has the authority to recommend, select, discipline, and discharge personnel.This is a full-time day shift position Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm including rotating weekends and holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.Preferred Criteria:
  • Master's Degree
  • Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
  • 2 years of additional experience
Required Criteria:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent
  • NYS Clinical Lab Technologist License by Dept. of Education.
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience or 2 years of clinical laboratory experience with Master's degree or 1 years of experience with a MD, DO or doctoral degree in a chemical, physical or biological science
