
Radiologic Technologist

- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Radiology field
- May prepare and administer various chemical mixtures as appropriate to the nature of the procedure being carried out
- Works under immediate supervision
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
- Reports to Imaging Supervisor
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
- Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
- Current 2nd year student in an accredited school of radiography or a new graduate of Radiologic Technology Program
- Must successfully graduate from an accredited school and complete the A.R.R.T. registry within 12 months from the date of hire
- Must be able to lift and move up to 35lbs
- Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
- Typical equipment used in a clinical job
- Must be able to stoop, crouch or bend
- Must be able to push, pull, or transport heavy equipment
- Exposure to needles, blood and body fluids, etc.
