We are seeking a Sanitation, Recycling or Waste Management background for our new position of Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager for our Louisiana operations.We seek someone with at least 3+ years of the above experience.Salary is very negotiable and depends on the depth of your experience.Ideal salary is $120K but again open to discussion.$3K Sign onWould love someone in or around Kenner LA but again open to discussion.ResponsibilitiesOversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment.Coordinate with terminal leaders to schedule repairs and maintenance of trucksOversee outsourcing of equipment repairs, including tire service, scheduled PM services, needed repairsEnsure compliance with DOT and CHP safety regulations and standards.Aid in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs for all fleet assets.Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and other performance metrics.Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and suppliesConduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.Conduct spot audits of Annual and 90 Day Inspections throughout the Fleet.Aid in fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition and offboarding.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
