- Running TCAD process simulation for Emulation technologies as required to support both process development and production.
- Running microcircuit reverse engineering software tools to determine microcircuit electrical functions and original design information.
- Works with microcircuit integration, process and design teams and others as required to obtain information required to perform process simulation for unit step, process area and integrated process verifications.
- Works with lead technology integrators to support development and maintain process flows as needed to sustain and expand production technologies. Tasks include creation of full process flows, wafer lot experimental planning and execution, etc.
- Performs additional related tasks as assigned including supporting efforts to maintain wafer disposition, inspection, and wiptrack programs using metrology, data analysis, etc.
- Supports lead process integrators in development, implementation, and maintenance of wafer level parametric data.
- On rare occasions may be required to perform shift work
- BS in electronic engineering, physics, chemistry, or an equivalent field
- Due to Government requirements candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Experience or knowledge in the semiconductor industry required in areas of silicon manufacturing
- Minimum of 2 years’ hands on practical experience of TCAD and/or process integration is required.
- Demonstrated analytical and systematic teamwork approach to troubleshooting
- Knowledge and experience of using TCAD simulation for semiconductor process technologies.
- Previous experience working with MESA wiptrack system is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
