This includes patient dining, retail and cafeteria services, catering, quality assurance, sanitation, and infection control.This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, solutions-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is committed to enhancing patient care and guest satisfaction through exceptional foodservice experiences.Key Responsibilities
  • Support the overall management of Food & Nutrition Services, ensuring client and patient satisfaction.
  • Assist with operational planning, cost-effective management, and adherence to budgetary goals.
  • Direct safety, sanitation, and preventive maintenance programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with patients, clients, and hospital departments, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Promote professional growth and development of team members through coaching and leadership.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to align foodservice operations with the facility's overall plan of care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, or related field, OR Associate's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian (RD) strongly preferred.
  • 1-3 years of hospital or healthcare foodservice experience, depending on education.
  • 3-5 years of foodservice operational management with inventory and purchasing expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, with focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
  • P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership, supervisory, and coaching skills with strong communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and computer applications.
  • ServSafe® certification required.
