evaluation and control systems and protocols for
processing materials into partially finished or
finished materials product. Collaborates with
engineering and manufacturing functions to
ensure quality standards are in place. Devises
and implements methods and procedures for
inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision
and accuracy of products and production
equipment. Designs and analyzes inspection and
testing processes, mechanisms and equipment;
conducts quality assurance tests; and performs
statistical analysis to assess the cost of and
determine the responsibility for, products or
materials that do not meet required standards
and specifications. Audits quality systems for
deficiency identification and correction. Ensures
that corrective measures meet acceptable
reliability standards and that documentation is
compliant with requirements. May specialize in
the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.Benefits of Employment:

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
- Production, test or machining knowledge.
- Ability to comprehend detailed work instructions, interpret engineering drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications and standards
- Experienced with Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work effectively with cross functional groups - Engineering, Program Management and Customers with minimal assistance.
- Displays maturity of action and judgment with a demonstrated track record of resourcefulness from previous work.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays depending on production needs.
- Production, test or machining knowledge.
- Knowledge of Space vehicles and architecture, programs, and requirements.
- Knowledge and proficiency using VE-CAMS and SAP.
- Broad mechanical and electrical production experience
- Previous industry related certifications to include: Hardware Torquing, Adhesive Bonding, Polymerics
- Quality Assurance inspection background preferred
- Understanding of engineering requirements including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Working knowledge of Quality Management System requirements including AS9100, ISO9000 and/or AS9003.
- Experience with Government Customers (e.g. NASA) and requirements flow downs.
- Experience with dimensional inspection
