The Dayton Regional STEM Schools seeks highly motivated and effective substitute teachers to join our school faculty and staff for the 2025-2026 school year. Interested candidates should send their resume to Stephanie Clower at stephanie.clower .Roles and responsibilities:
  • Provide classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans
  • Create a classroom that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students
  • Maintain a safe and orderly environment
  • Maintain established routine of the school and the classroom procedures in which assigned
  • Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
  • Maintain reasonable rules of conduct which encourage self-discipline and responsibility
  • Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and times designated
  • Help supervise students throughout school day, inside, and outside classroom
  • Keep teachers or teams informed of special needs or problems of individual students
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with Substitute Teaching License or ability to obtain a Temporary 1 Year Non-Bachelor's Substitute Teaching License
