  • Encourages the use of instructional technology to engage students and to improve learning
  • Commits to remaining current in professional practices and developments, information technologies, and educational research
  • Collaborates with teachers and students to design and teach engaging inquiry and learning experiences and assessments that incorporate multiple literacies and foster critical thinking
  • Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: * Required certification: School Library-Media Specialist (062); Master’s degree preferred.
  • Three years’ successful experience in an urban setting preferred.
  • Experience in the use of educational technology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and human relation skills.
