- Perform laboratory services such as media preparation, order delivery, glassware processing, and biological waste processing.
- Work within computer systems to access and follow standard operating procedures.
- Proactively share any feedback or issues with the supervisor.
- Resolve customer inquiries promptly within designated time frames consistently.
- Embrace Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience gained from relevant degree or 2 years of related experience preferred.
- Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to collaborate at various levels.
- Strong attention to detail and value for safety and quality.
- Computer proficiency and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite.
- Works primarily at customer sites, which may require independent work. Work areas may include spaces where hazards are present (biological, chemical, pressurized systems, etc.).
- Personal protective equipment may be required, including lab coats, coveralls, hoods, face masks, hairnets, safety gloves, steel-toe shoes, bump hats, and/or safety glasses.
- Must consistently lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds; occasional lifting of 50 pounds using equipment aids.
- Frequent standing and walking for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work overtime, as needed.
