What you will be doing:The Power and Signal Distribution (PASD) Release Engineer will be responsible for the design and release of high voltage wiring harness assemblies and related components. The PASD Release Engineer will also coordinate drawing creation CAD release in Teamcenter and validation of released components in the vehicle and component environments. Support manufacturing facilities for entire life cycle and manage a supplier engineering support team. Manage substantial amounts of data and be very comfortable working in corporate computer systems. Vehicle Types include, Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs),), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), Extended Paradigm Breaker (REPB), Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs and any (future) non Internal combustion Powerplant (ICE).What you'll need to be successful:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university. 1-2 years of high voltage transportation wiring design and release experience or vehicle electrical system experiencePreferred RequirementsTraining in DFMEA DVP&R and DFSS development tools and processes. Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, CAD systems ( NX, Catia).referred Requirements:Fluency in Italian and / or Spanish would be desirable.-Excellent communication skills that include writing, creation and presentation of management level high quality presentation materials and reports. Proficient in MS Office suite of tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Word-Experience in high volume manufacturing facilities. Familiarity with wiring harness drawings and specifications for automotive applications. -Familiarity with SharePoint data management environments is desiredAdditional Information / Must Have's:
1. High voltage Wiring Design and application experience. Experience in all types of Powerplants (i.e.: ICE, BEV, PHEV, REPV, HEV.).
2. Excellent Communication Skill,
Knowledgeable working with Wiring suppliers, Elec. Component Suppliers.
Provide Manager and others with program status, issues, Experience w/ presenting to an audience including peers, other group members, and Manager.
3. Education; BS Elec. Or equivalent. CAD (in UG or CAIA) design Knowledge. 5 yrs practical Experience or equivalent. High Voltage Experience is a plus.
  • How many years of experience are you looking for (if different than the job description): 2-4 Yrs min. Bu will consider, new graduate or one very experienced H.V. Engineer.
o Onsite - 100%-CTC
Does this position require driving a Stellantis vehicle? (Examples: Testing / Driving on a Track / Moving vehicle throughout the facility/ Moving vehicle to another plant location)
  • Very infrequent driving but when necessary should have a valid driver's license.
