- Organize and maintain all engineering/equipment drawings, equipment cut sheets, manuals and electronic documentation required by Process Safety Management (PSM) program. Ensure current backup copies of all PLC programming for all PSM covered areas is saved on network.
- Make all necessary engineering drawing updates using AutoCAD and maintain current in both electronic and hard-copy format. Must utilize field walks to verify and update drawings.
- Develop and update Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures based on manufacturers’ recommendations, Engineering Codes and Standards and RAGAGEP for all PSM-covered equipment, components and instrumentation.
- Conduct Risk Based Assessments on PMs regarding their initial effectiveness, reliability and deficiencies.
- Proactively coordinate with maintenance planners, Area Leaders and PEs required PM work and follow open PSM work orders to include verification of necessary equipment, knowledgeable personnel and adequate supplies to ensure PM Schedules are met as required. Input Management of Change and coordinate interim safety controls if a PM is not completed on time.
- Input PSM work orders for any deficiencies or additional work found during completion of PM work, work orders and pre-start up safety reviews (PSSRs).
- Update and maintain instrument and equipment identification and tagging system.
- Facilitate improvements to FIMS or other PM/Work order system used by the site.
- Conduct spare parts assessments on CP covered processes both for effectiveness, quality and quantity.
- Facilitate training and develop as necessary maintenance procedures for equipment installations, calibrations and repair/replacement.
- Maintain most up to date copy of relevant Engineering standards (API, ANSI, NFPA, ASME, ASHRAE, ISA, etc.) and follow changes in these standards to ensure we are meeting them.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assist with troubleshooting and equipment installations
- Ability to interact with regulators and outside agencies regarding compliance to PSM guidelines
- Conduct Combustible dust audits and assessments monthly
