Ascension is seeking an accomplished and strategic marketing professional to serve as the Director of Marketing – Adult Service Lines & Hospitals. In this leadership role, you will drive the marketing strategy for adult specialties (including cardiovascular, orthopedics, neurosciences, oncology, and more) while ensuring cohesive hospital promotion and regional alignment. This role is responsible for increasing awareness, volume, and patient engagement across adult services in Texas.Key Responsibilities:
- Service Line Marketing: Lead the development and execution of service line marketing strategies for adult specialties, aligned with organizational growth priorities. Partner with clinical and operational leaders to understand differentiators and translate them into compelling messaging.
- Hospital Promotion: Oversee brand and marketing strategies for adult hospitals, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all channels. Develop and execute campaigns that drive awareness, preference, and utilization of key services.
- Multichannel Campaign Execution: Build and lead data-informed campaigns using digital, social, print, OOH, and grassroots tactics. Ensure measurable ROI through analytics, reporting, and continuous optimization.
- Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate with strategy, business development, and communications to align marketing efforts with broader goals. Coordinate with provider marketing and reputation management teams to support physician visibility and engagement.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals across assigned hospitals and service lines. Drive high performance through coaching, accountability, and collaboration.
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, including hospital and service line strategy.
- Strong track record of managing complex marketing initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Experience working in or with large healthcare systems and matrixed environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
