- The Cable Harness Assembler is a developing support role for individual contributors working under general supervision.
- Work is less structured but follows established boundaries and procedures.
- The role involves following written procedures, identifying straightforward problems, and escalating issues when required.
- Assignments are typically smaller, less structured activities that contribute to operational targets with some impact on overall team results.
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a two-year post-secondary/associate degree with 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to follow written procedures and complete assigned work in a timely manner.
- Basic computer skills to complete timecards and view schematics and work instructions.
- Cable harness assembly experience.
- 4 or more years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent, or 2 years of related experience with a two-year associate degree.
- Developing job knowledge and skills in assembly processes.
- Follow established procedures to complete assembly tasks.
- Identify problems and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Work under general supervision with moderate peer review.
- Contribute to the achievement of operational goals by supporting smaller, task-related activities.
- IPC 610 or J-STD experience or certification.
- Good communication skills.
- Teamwork oriented and able to adapt quickly to a team environment.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision if required.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience, or a two-year degree with 2 years of related experience.
- Soldering certifications are preferred.
