Assembly

• The Cable Harness Assembler is a developing support role for individual contributors working under general supervision.
• Work is less structured but follows established boundaries and procedures.
• The role involves following written procedures, identifying straightforward problems, and escalating issues when required.
• Assignments are typically smaller, less structured activities that contribute to operational targets with some impact on overall team results.

• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a two-year post-secondary/associate degree with 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to follow written procedures and complete assigned work in a timely manner.
• Basic computer skills to complete timecards and view schematics and work instructions.
• Cable harness assembly experience.

• 4 or more years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent, or 2 years of related experience with a two-year associate degree.
• Developing job knowledge and skills in assembly processes.

• Follow established procedures to complete assembly tasks.
• Identify problems and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Work under general supervision with moderate peer review.
• Contribute to the achievement of operational goals by supporting smaller, task-related activities.

• IPC 610 or J-STD experience or certification.

• Good communication skills.
• Teamwork oriented and able to adapt quickly to a team environment.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision if required.

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience, or a two-year degree with 2 years of related experience.
• Soldering certifications are preferred.
