The team sells capital equipment and treatment packages for early to intermediate dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in ophthalmic clinics. This role requires exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals, including doctors, technicians, and back-office personnel.Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Retina Clinic Managers responsible for driving sales of capital equipment and associated treatment packages within targeted ophthalmic accounts. A Division Manager role will lead a team that focuses on strategic account development, clinical engagement, and long-term revenue growth inclusive of the following responsibilities:Capital Equipment Sales: Lead face-to-face sales efforts for high-value medical clinical devices, targeting specialty and non-specialty clinicsTreatment Package Pull-Through: Drive adoption and utilization of Valeda treatment packages tied to capital equipment to maximize account value and patient benefitStrategic Account Planning: Identify key opportunities within accounts and execute tailored sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targetsClinical Engagement: Build strong relationships with clinical stakeholders including licensed physicians, nurses, and technicians to support product adoption and increasing usageExecutive & Administrative Buy-In: Engage with non-clinical decision-makers such as procurement, finance, and administration to secure capital approvals and streamline reimbursement pull-throughSales Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product presentations, proposals, and hands-on demonstrations to showcase clinical and economic valueCustomer Support & Education: Provide post-sale training, troubleshooting, and support to ensure successful implementation and sustained usageCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, clinical specialists, and service teams to support promotional efforts and customer successMarket Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position offerings effectivelyCRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer interactions using Salesforce tools and corresponding resourcingWhat you will bring to Alcon:Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs;)The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English5 Years of Relevant Experience3 Years of Demonstrated LeadershipPreferred:Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.Sales experience in ophthalmology, and/or clinic-based environments.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performance teams.Ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.Self-motived and goal oriented.Willingness to travel as required per divisional geography.How can you thrive at Alcon:Achieve assigned sales quota annuallyCareer growth opportunities both in role and throughout the organizationBest in class benefits package including health, life, retirement, flexible time off, and much more!ATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent WorkerIf you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.Total RewardsAlcon’s Total Rewards programs are designed to align to incentives with business goals, encourage the right values and behaviors, and deliver long-term value.
