
Events Manager

- Develop and implement event strategies and planning cadences aligned with company goals and budgets
- Lead a proactive and strategic approach to event planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with executive leadership, internal regional and business segment partners, and external partners
- Manage all aspects of event logistics including site visits, venue sourcing, hotel room blocks, catering, vendor coordination, and attendee registration
- Partner with marketing and communications teams to create and execute event materials such as invitations, signage, and other design elements
- Deliver engaging attendee experiences across both in-person and virtual formats
- Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships to ensure seamless event execution
- Independently manage multiple projects, ensuring flawless execution and budget adherence
- Utilize CVENT to manage events from concept through post-event analysis
- Oversee event budgets and financial tracking
- Create and maintain detailed project plans with clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and timelines
- Coordinate equipment, supplies, and event needs including A/V, furniture, décor, and gifting
- Lead and support volunteer coordination for event logistics, including registration, attendee tracking, event materials, and on-site execution

- Adapt quickly to changing goals and needs, demonstrating strong problem-solving and flexibility
- Travel up to 30% for on-site event support
- Bachelor's Degree or additional experience in Lieu of Education
- 5+ years experience in meeting and event planning
- Working out of office hours e.g. evenings and weekends for events
- Some travel required
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, communication, marketing or related field is preferred (or equivalent experiences)
- Financial services meeting and event planning experience
- Proficiency in CVENT for event creation, sourcing, invitations, registration, and event management
- Willingness to work outside of standard office hours, including evenings and weekends
- Experience working with executive leadership teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to problem-solve in real time and manage high-pressure situations
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality execution
- Strong budgeting and financial management capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
